Braemar (Incorporating The Salvage Association), (“Braemar SA”), the international multi-disciplinary marine surveyors and consultants, invited a number of its clients on a hair raising white water rafting adventure by getting them to tackle a 300 metre Grade 4 Olympic Standard Competition Course at the Lee Valley White Water Centre at Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire, UK.
Steve McCarthy, Associate Director in Marine Services, said: “It was a fantastic day as everyone was in good spirits. Some clients did look a little anxious when putting on their wet suits and being briefed on the outing but we all had great fun. After a couple of hours of white water rafting we all dried off and enjoyed a barbeque and some drinks. Later we all took the train back into London and headed off for more drinks.”
Charlotte Ward, Marketing Manager, added: “These days out are really important for us as a company as it helps us to get to know our clients better. This event proved a great bonding experience – even if it did require a big dose of adrenaline!”
