  • Graeme Temple

    Regional Director - Far East
    Background and relevant experience:
    Marine Engineer: Class 1 Chief engineer’s certificate held, with twenty five years at sea and fifteen years as chief engineer. Seagoing experience on general cargo, container, LPG, towage/salvage vessels and small craft. All types of H&M, P&I surveys and legal opinions performed. Specialist in technical investigations and has performed as an expert witness.

    Finance Director
    Background and relevant experience:
    Based in the London office, Robert joined the company in September 2010. Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, Robert has held a number of senior finance positions in both listed and privately owned multi-disciplinary engineering, surveying and consulting companies including a role as Controller and board member of a £100m turnover division of a FTSE 250 company.
  • Paul Hill

    Chief Surveyor, Western Europe
    Background and relevant experience:
    Paul Hill has 20 years of seagoing experience as an Engineering Officer including 8 years as a Chief Engineer with Condor Ferries on high speed catamarans.

    Before taking his current position with Breamar, he worked as a Ship Manager at A&P Falmouth, a dry-docking and ship repair yard in Cornwall. This role has given him extensive knowledge of project management.

    Background and relevant experience:
    John is a Chartered Engineer with over 23 years experience in marine engineering and technical consulting. Prior to joining Braemar in 2013 as Chief Surveyor, John was America’s manager for a global technical consultancy and he continues to provide expert services for hull underwriters, shipowners, charterers, financial institutions, shipyards and engine manufacturers. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology and holds a Class 1 Certificate of Competency.

    Marketing Manager
    Background and relevant experience:
    Based in London, Charlotte is responsible for overseeing the UK and international brand and marketing communications initiatives.

    Charlotte joined the company in October 2010 having previously worked as a marketing manager for an international manufacturer in the construction sector.

    Principal Surveyor, Greece and P&I Services Manager - Mediterranean
    Background and relevant experience:
    Profile: Dipl. Mechanical Engineer: Field experience as a Superintendent Engineer with local shipping companies mainly with reefer vessels. Research Engineer, NATO research programs.
    Experience with JH143 Shipyard Risk Assessment surveys in Med Region. ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor. Languages: fluent in Greek, English with a working knowledge of German

    Background and relevant experience:
    Master Mariner: Nine years seagoing experience on general cargo, Ro-Ro and container vessels. Experience in warranty and towage surveys, hull and cargo damage surveys, on and off hire and condition surveys.

    Based in London, Emma is responsible for the UK and International Credit Control and Billing. She brings 13 years of experience to the company, seven of which are in the Marine Insurance sector.

    Based in London Charl is responsible for all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Standards issues across the Company. Charl has also managed the London Global Support Services department and worked in the Finance team. Before taking his current position with Braemar in 2009, he worked for 12 years in Finance in various industries and as a Telecoms Trader.
